A footsteps meeting at Leys Court Lounge

Guest speaker Graham Hepburn plays keyboards

Footsteps is a non-denominational groups for Christians and those interested in the Christian faith. We meet at Leys Court Lounge on the third Wednesday afternoon in each month, between 2.00pm and (approximately) 4.00pm.

We hope to have a guest speaker each month, and afterwards to explore and share our thoughts on the subject we have heard, and to do this in an informal and relaxed way over tea and cakes.

One of our aims is to help us share our concerns and questions about the place God has in our lives, and in the society we live in today.

We would like to invite you and your friends to join us – the group is open to anyone in the Village (and beyond) who would care to come together for a time of fellowship. Please come along and see what it is all about – we look forward to meeting old friends and making new ones.

Sylvia Sanderson and Lesley Shaw.

The organisers of this group are both committed Christians. Sylvia Sanderson will be known to many of you as the Manageress of the Honeycomb Charity Shop on Church street, Ruddington. Sylvia and her family have lived in the village for 25 years and have a real love and concern for the people of Ruddington.

Lesley Shaw is Team Leader of Rainbows, a group of Christians from the Ruddington Churches who take services into four nursing and residential homes in the Village on a monthly basis. She married a local man (Peter) and has lived with her family in Ruddington for over 39 years. Sylvia and Lesley also help organise and promote (through The Honeycomb) coach outings three times a year, supported by Ruddington Baptist Church. These are open to everyone in the Village and their friends.
