Sunday Worship
We meet each Sunday morning at the Youth and Community Centre on the Green, and hold a monthly evening service at Leys Court.
10.30am - Morning Worship, at the Youth and Community Centre
This is a service for all the family, from the youngest to the oldest. The whole church is together for the first 30 minutes, after which the children and young people usually have their own Junior Church. This allows the children to learn about the Bible, grow in faith and worship at their own level, while the adults (and sometimes the teenagers) continue in worship and learn through the sermon. A crèche is available each week. The service lasts about 90 minutes.
We include communion as part of the service every 2-3 weeks, and encourage anyone who knows Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour to take part.
We hold regular "All-Age" worship and communion services, when everyone is encouraged to remain together for the whole service (although we do provide a crèche for the youngest children). During these services we aim to worship God and learn in a way that people of all ages can understand and relate to.
Evening Worship, at Leys Court Sheltered Housing Complex
This service is held on the first Sunday of each month. It is often quieter and more reflective, and an opportunity to meet with God in a different way to the morning. Our time together is led by different people. Tea and coffee is served afterwards.
